A long time Charleston resident, Steven P. Levesque has deep experience as an executive in the aviation & maritime industries. A graduate of the University of North Carolina Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC), he served on active duty for several years before transitioning to the reserves.
His aviation background dates back to 1995, and he has served in numerous leadership capacities in the last 20 years. Highlights include CFO of an $850 million revenue aerospace company and most recently serving as CEO of a new general aviation services company and Fixed Base Operation (FBO) platform with capabilities in aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Aircraft Charter and Management (ACM). Focus areas include development and operations of airport infrastructure in the FBO, MRO and ACM areas as well as the development of airport facilities. The company is based in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
He previously served as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Hawthorne Global Aviation Services and its affiliates. As CEO Steven P. Levesque oversaw Hawthorne Global Aviation Services and Hawthorne FBO Holdings, LLC. Tracing its roots back to 1932, Hawthorne is one of the general aviation industry's oldest operating companies, with industry clients from around the world. Considered the public face of the entity, Steven Levesque lead strategic development, relationship management, shareholder communications, and revenue growth.
Responsible for enhancing the operations of Hawthorne. as its president, Steve Levesque was chosen to lead Hawthorne Global Aviation Services since its formation.
